Registration Opens October 1, 2024. Limited spots available (35 youth). If more guides volunteer, available spots could increase.

Saturday December 28th – Monday December 30th, 2024

Location: Swainsboro, GA

Time: Begins 7am Saturday Morning

Who: All youth under the age of 16 are invited to this event.

(No Trapping Experience or supplies required to attend, but bring what you have).

Cost: FREE! Made possible by volunteers & donations.

Each Youth will run their own trap line with expert GTA Guides.

Youth will set 6 traps each for a 2 day trap line.

Topics Covered: Trapping Safety, Trap types & selection, Types of sets for specific target species, skinning, etc.

This event would not be possible without the donation of facilities and trapping properties by the local community. GTA member Guides for their time, supplies, knowledge & efforts. Parents are encouraged to step in and help out with setup, meals, cooking, cleaning, tear down, etc. ‘Many hands make light work’.

** Cell Phone service is limited at Host Property. Cash is preferred if purchasing any GTA apparel.
